Em julho, entrou em vigor a lei estadual 5.502/09 que desincentiva o uso de sacolas plásticas em estabelecimentos comerciais e tenta favorecer a sua substituição por outras feitas de materiais reutilizáveis. Diz a lei que, caso recuse a sacolinha, para cada 5 itens de compra o consumidor ganha desconto de 3 centavos. Há dois anos, por iniciativa pessoal, eu já havia abdicado do plástico. Finalmente, parecia que ia ganhar um prêmio pelo bom comportamento. Fiz uma compra-teste de R$150,00 e obtive o sensacional desconto de… 18 centavos!
Desse jeito, infelizmente, não haverá estímulo à mudança de hábito. A razão é simples: caso recusem a sacolinha — que lhes parecia grátis — os consumidores alegam que não terão onde depositar o lixo doméstico. Assim, terão que apelar à compra de sacos de lixo, cujo valor unitário do tamanho equivalente gira em torno de 15 centavos (média de R$ 15,00 por pacote com 100 unidades), cinco vezes mais caros que os 3 centavos restituídos pelo caixa. Nesses termos, a troca é desvantajosa e quem já fez esta conta vai pegar a sacolinha e continuar usando para o lixo. A economia proposta pela lei não compensa.
O fato é que a maioria desconhece que o saco próprio para lixo usa entre 40% e 100% de matéria-prima reciclada na sua confecção e ainda existe na versão biodegradável. O dado é da principal marca brasileira, embora a informação ainda não apareça na embalagem. Do outro lado, as sacolinhas de supermercado são feitas de plástico ‘virgem’, não degradável e já costumam vir furadas, o que leva ao seu uso em duplas na hora de embalar o lixo.
Sobram razões para aposentá-las, porém, apenas campanhas ressaltando os nobres fins dessa atitude não resolvem. Ao invés de se dar um desconto irrisório pelo ‘não uso’, que caberia ao supermercado, o mais eficaz seria cobrar ‘pelo uso’ das mesmas. Quanto? O suficiente para que sejam substituídas pelos sacos de lixo. Esta cobrança já é adotada em um bom número de países, entre eles Alemanha, Dinamarca, Holanda, China e diversos locais nos EUA. A medida ainda nos incentivaria a economizar os sacos de lixo.
A melhor forma de se estimular mudanças é cutucar o bolso, órgão bastante sensível do consumidor. Isso nos ajudaria a ver como as sacolas de pano reutilizáveis são ótimas para compras pequenas; para não falar na opção do carrinho, muito mais confortável do que carregar tudo na mão. Com a lei 5.502/09 , o governo deu o primeiro passo para a transformação de hábitos já enraizados. Mas se quiser mesmo que cada indivíduo, preocupado ou não com as consequências do seu comportamento, pare de usar as infernais sacolinhas de supermercado, terá que refazer as contas.

What do i do now as a result of i want this laptop to be working urgently. PLEASE HELP
